Swimming Coaches
Nicholas Grande is the Girls Head Swimming Coach at Ridge
Community High School. He has been coaching with the school since 2017.
He swam during his time at Penn State and has remained an avid athlete, as he
is still involved in competitions with the local Orlando underwater hockey team
as well as takes place in local lake swims and scuba diving trips. Having
a true love of the water, he works to pass the skills he learned as a swimmer
to help athletes succeed both in and out of the pool.

This coming fall, Michael McNalley begins his 9th year coaching swimming at Ridge Community as the Boys Head Coach. McNalley started swimming in Germany when he was a kid while he was a military brat. That experience helped him travel all over Europe and work with different coaches and compete with a variety of elite swimmers. He swam and coached during his time at Florida Southern College from 2000-2004 and 2005-2006. McNalley remains an avid athlete in swimming and likes sports in general. Have a true love for coaching and teaching, he works tirelessly to make sure he passes on the skills he learned as a swimmer and coach.
